An Unwavering Commitment to Sustainability
Recycling of metals plays a critical role in building a sustainable future. It conserves natural resources, lowers energy consumption in production, and reduces greenhouse gas emissions compared to raw material extraction.
At Bajaj Alloys, we are committed to this approach by maximising the recycling of scrap metals, minimising waste, and therefore significantly reducing our environmental footprint. Through these practices, we play our part in making a cleaner, greener planet.
Recycling copper uses 85% less energy than fresh production.
Recycling a tonne of aluminium instead of fresh production prevents 9 tonnes of CO2 from entering the atmosphere.

Using Baling Presses
These heavy-duty equipment assist us in compressing the scrap metal we purchase into compact bales, optimising space and reducing processing time & costs.
Recycling 1 metric tonne (MT) of copper alloys saves 1.5 MT of CO2.

Pulverising Dross Materials
Valuable metals are extracted from dross, a waste by-product from metal smelting and refining. The fine particles resulting from crushing and pulverising it help extract metallic content.
